Valerie Saundry is a talented Christian singer, songwriter, and musician with a passion for sharing the Gospel through her music. Hailing from South Mississippi, she draws inspiration from her roots in Southern Gospel. With influences such as Gold City, The Hinsons, The Crabb Family and many others, you can hear the country, soul-stirring melodies in her songs.
Valerie discovered her passion for music at a young age, enjoying playing music in church alongside her family. Over time, she started writing her own songs, remaining unpublished until recently.
Her most recent album release "For Such A Time As This" was born out of a season of deep trial, reflection, and faith. Walking through her journey with cancer changed the way she saw everything — life, purpose, and the power of God’s presence. These songs were written at different times but all came from moments of pain, loss, hope, faith and chain-breaking freedom. Valerie found that Jesus truly was enough. What began as brokenness became a testimony of healing and hope, and she prays these songs will speak life into anyone walking through their own valley. Each track carries a piece of that story. Lord Help Me was a cry for strength on the hardest days, when she didn’t know how to take the next step. Cross Your Jordan reminds us to take that step of faith — and God will make a way where there seems to be none. After Your Heart was written in a quiet moment of reflection and devotion, echoing David’s cry to be a person after God’s own heart. Walking Free celebrates redemption and transformation, inspired by the Apostle Paul’s journey and her own deliverance from fear. Meet Me There speaks to the power of memory, the strength of family, and the enduring hope of eternal reunion, while Earth’s Savior leads us to the manger — where peace, grace, and salvation entered the world— We celebrate the Savior, the Reason we have hope in every storm.
